"I moved to a new home and area to be closer to my family. With no community of friends or church home, I searched online for Christian social groups. I was so excited to find Apex hosting a lake party. So taking my kayak and camp chair, I joined the fest of grilled hamburgers, potluck dishes, campfire songs, badminton and kayaking. Everyone was respectful and friendly. I 'continued to join other functions such as the Valentines Dinner, Beach Retreat, Halloween Bash, and other activities. "I began my faith journey as a young child and currently worship at Flat Creek Church in Gainesville GA. I am new to Hall County after decades of living in Gwinnett County. God opened a door for me to build community for Christian singles in South Hall, North Gwinnett and surrounding areas. I am the mother of four adults and my super power is being “Mimi” to 12 (and counting) grandchildren. I have a passion for missions and have been involved in International and Local ministries for more than 3 decades. When International opportunities were curtailed due to several factors, including but not limited to COVID, my focus shifted to local organizations and joined Apex as a board member to serve as needed and cultivate community among Apex members."
